An exhibition where you can learn the story and history until the birth of mentaiko
This is an exhibition corner that introduces the history of Toshio Kawahara, the founder of Fukuya and the man who created Karashi Mentaiko. Along with an exhibition that reproduces the storefront at the time of its founding, it also introduces the history of how mentaiko was born and the reason why mentaiko spread all over the country.

Think about the Hakata Gion Yamakasa that runs through the town of Hakata
The "Kakiyama", which is the same size as the one actually carried in the Hakata Gion Yamakasa, is on display. Kuroda Nagamasa, who is the motif, is faithfully reproduced with the equipment of the time, and the process of making the base, such as stick tightening and doll decorations, is also introduced.
